Temporary Vendor Blackout Dates:


Calvert County Government is moving to a new financial management system at the end of March. In order to facilitate a seamless transition to our new system, any invoices received in our office between Tuesday, March 14, and Friday, April 7, 2023, will be held for processing until after Monday, April 10, 2023.

To ensure the most timely payment during this time, please submit invoices before March 14, 2023. We will work to ensure invoices are processed as quickly as possible once the new system is up and running.

Mission

The Department of Finance & Budget is responsible for providing county management with timely and accurate information for decision making; maintaining a standard of excellence in financial reporting and budgeting; safeguarding assets; and adding value to accounting data through financial analysis.

The department is also responsible for purchasing,  payroll, tax billing, capital projects, grants coordination, accounts payable, accounts receivable, debt management and oversight of county investments.
