Eryn Lowe

Director Eryn Lowe holds a B.S. degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a focus in creative writing. She was hired in the department in 2018 and appointed director in July 2023. In this role, she directs all services and activities of the 14-person department including comprehensive marketing services to promote the county and its initiatives, media relations, graphic design, social media, website services and intergovernmental relations. She has 17 years of experience working in public relations, internal and external communications, marketing, business development and graphic design. She is a graduate of Leadership Southern Maryland 2024 and NACo Professional Development Academy and member of the Public Relations Society and the National Association of Counties.
