Annual Business Recycling Report

The Calvert County Department of Public Works, Solid Waste Division, thanks you for participating in the 2024 Annual Recycling Reporting Survey. As part of the Maryland Recycling Act, Calvert County is required by the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) to recycle at least 20% of its total waste.

Your participation in this survey provides essential data to help determine the county’s annual recycling rate. This rate is calculated by gathering information from completed surveys submitted by local businesses, waste haulers and processors. With widespread participation, the Solid Waste Division can submit accurate recycling data to MDE, which is then used to assess the county's recycling efforts. Please submit your completed survey using the links below by March 1, 2025.
